Josephine has over 11 years experience in mental health and counselling and over 20 years experience in finance. Josephine has qualifications in psychology and financial planning. She has been helping clients improve their relationship with money and learn financial literacy as well as improve their mental health. Josephine has also been working with clients who have experienced or experiencing domestic violence validate their experience, heal from the trauma and learn how to become financially stable through financial literacy, budgeting, cash flow management, and referrals.
She has also helped staff at workplaces improve team work, resilience, communication skills and work out their life and career challenges and options. Josephine has experience in working in the education sector developing courses and teaching.
Josephine will help you improve your relationship with money which may include thoughts about saving and how to save money better, fear of spending, being a workaholic, budgeting and how you spend money. You may procrastinate to save, be impulsive when spending money or struggle with allowing social media such as Instagram to influence your spending habits. You may also need support if financially abused or to get out of an abusive relationship which you feel stuck in due to finances. You may be a young person who doesn't understand enough about finances to be independent and have a fear to managing on your own. Josephine will help you improve your financial literacy including how to manage your money better.

Josephine's credentials include a Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced, Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning, Bachelor of Communications, a Certificate IV and Diploma in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Professional Counselling with advanced studies in Relationship Counselling and Conflict Management, Workplace Counselling and Career Counselling. She has completed training for behaviour management for young people with autism, understanding challenging behaviour, Family Focus Intervention, trauma focused cognitive behaviour therapy for children and adolescents. Josephine has completed Understanding Dementia and Preventing Dementia course. Josephine has successfully completed the Emotional Freedom Technique and Process Experiential Emotion-focused Therapy workshop and a Diploma in Professional, Writing and Editing. Josephine has a current Police and Working with Children check.
